Back into the swing of things

Classes have finally started! The workload is still pretty light, but I know that won't last long. Here are some more sketches for now, but I'll start posting work soon. It's nice to be back :)

Goodbye Durham, at least for now. I'll miss you, but...I also can't wait to get back to Baltimore.

These are just a couple more pieces from last semester that I wanted to post, I'm going to try to start updating with new work as soon as possible.
(The top two are painted in gouache, and the bottom was an embroidery done for a short story for one of my classes.)

So! After a long period of telling myself to start a blog here I am, finally making one. I guess this was one New Years resolution that I've managed to tackle. Right now I'm be posting some work from last semester, but I'll be updating this blog with sketchbook excerpts and project updates. Above is an illustration for the three little pigs that I painted earlier in the fall.
